Kara Hesse Announces Release of New Album, ‘Devil & the Dove’ Out February 27th.
[NASHVILLE, TN] - February 18th, 2026 - After an 8 month waterfall campaign, independent artist and singer-songwriter, Kara Hesse, is releasing the album in its entirety February 27th. The first KH album since 2018, 'Devil & the Dove' chronicles the journey long before then and the path she’s walked to get here. It is a love letter to the past, inflamed with final goodbyes; carrying stories of perseverance through grief and holding onto light in times of darkness.
“Devil & the Dove” sits on the fringes of Americana, Western, and Indie Rock — featuring raw, soulful female vocals, organic instrumentation and storytelling, enveloping the bittersweet tension of a pioneer leaving heartbreak and chasing their truth.

Now fully embracing a solo career and moving to Nashville, TN, after leading her West Coast band (via Seattle) since 2012, Kara Hesse is building momentum following her debut LP Sojourner, which received recognition from outlets like Nashville Voyager and Music Row. Her songs have been featured on television shows on CBS & DirecTV and has opened for iconic acts including Steve Miller Band, Al Green, Buddy Guy and the late B.B. King, performing on major stages like Red Rocks and Chateau St. Michelle.

Native to the Wichita plains and raised on the foothills of Colorado, her midwestern roots seep through her sultry voice and songwriting with an eclectic blend of americana soul and rock ‘n roll. Her music has been placed on television shows, including CBS Scorpion and DirecTV You Me Her. She currently resides in Nashville, TN.
